Personally, I feel that Venn diagrams can be slightly complicated for some 4 year olds. However, using their photographs is a great way to hold their attention and provides personalized introduction into the new Math concept.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Activity&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The children were given options on their favourite food, apples, pears or both. The center portion were obviously those who liked both.
